富山〜金沢 Toyama and Kanazawa

年明けの休日を利用して、教員をしている富山の友人に会いにいった。
弾丸旅行で観光もせず、友人に会いにいってただ飲むだけであったが、
彼の秘めたる想いや悩みをきくことができ、とても有意義な旅行であった。
悩んでいない人なんていないのだ。

帰りに途中下車をして金沢の２１世紀美術館(http://www.kanazawa21.jp)を訪ねた。
企画展「ス・ドホ｜パーフェクトホーム」(http://www.kanazawa21.jp/data_list.php?g=19&d=1398)
は無論、その世界観に圧倒されるばかりであったが、
一方で面白かったのが、美術館という空間の使われ方である。

２１世紀美術館は金沢という街の「学校の美術室」であった。
学校における美術室が、生徒の作品が制作され、展示され、生徒の芸術観
を養う場であるように、この美術館も地域の人々の作品が展示され、
制作され、様々な芸術活動を支援する場として機能していた。
地下の広々とした空間に、地域のあらゆる学校から集められた生徒の
作品が展示されていて、圧倒された。

全国に有名な美術館だけに、観光客も多いのだと思うが、
それ以上に地域の人々に愛される美術館という印象だった。


On weekend, I went to Toyama where my friend lives and works as a teacher.
It was a short trip so just to meet him and drink together was the only aim of the trip.
We shared our passion and worries. There is no one who don't have worries.

On my way back to Kyoto, I stopped at Kanazawa to visit 21st museum
(http://www.kanazawa21.jp).  It was impressive to see their exhibition by
professional artists but I was also impressed by an exhibition of works by
amateur artists such as students and elderly people who lives in the community.

Museum is used as a space for community and it fosters artistic activities
in local community. Many visitors might come to see the museum but also
local people seem to love and visit the building frequently.
